UMN Recognized as an Accredited Transportation Demand Management Organization

Transportation Demand Management (TDM) involves strategies to help travelers make the most of their transportation systems, leading to better mobility, less traffic, and fewer vehicle emissions.

Accredited TDM Organization badge

The University of Minnesota Twin Cities has officially earned the Accredited TDM designation for the next 3 years from the Association for Commuter Transportation (ACT). UMN is one of the first nine ACT accredited TDM organizations, and only one of three higher education institutions to receive the distinction.

The University is thrilled to be recognized as an accredited TDM organization. We look forward to continuing to pioneer innovative, multi-modal transportation solutions that align with reducing our carbon footprint and the strategic goals of the University.
