Board of Regents Traffic Ordinance No. 7 states that E–bikes and scooters should not be driven in University of Minnesota buildings, and may not be stored in classrooms, auditoriums, and laboratories. These devices are also not allowed in elevators or University residence halls.
Devices necessary for accessibility such as wheelchairs, including motorized chairs, and other personal mobility aids used by individuals with disabilities are exempt from this rule.
