Light Rail Maintenance Interruptions

If the METRO Blue or Green Lines are part of your daily routine, here is what you need to know to stay ahead of the curve.

Blue Line service impacts

During these windows, buses will replace trains at the following locations:

  • May 9–10: Target Field to Fort Snelling.
  • May 30–31: Target Field to Fort Snelling.
  • June 29–Aug. 19: Mall of America to Target Field.

Green Line service impacts

The Green Line will also see some adjustments, specifically between West Bank and Target Field stations:

  • June 2–July 26 AND Aug. 16–19: No train service.
  • July 27–August 15: Full train service, Union Depot to Target Field.

Green Line Riders: If you’re traveling during the shutdown periods, the Green Line will still serve West Bank Station. From there, you can catch eastbound trains toward St. Paul or hop on a replacement bus to head into downtown Minneapolis or south toward the Airport.
