How do I get to campus from the West Bank Office Building Ramp?

The guides below will get you onto campus from the West Bank Office Building (WBOB) Ramp. Once on campus, use our campus maps or smartphone to navigate. 

 

 Walk/bike/scooter to Mondale Hall area

The walk from the West Bank Office Building Ramp is about the same distance as walking from West to East Bank over the Washington Avenue Bridge.

Shortest route (more traffic)
  1. Exit the ramp and head west toward 13th Avenue South
  2. Turn left onto 13th Avenue South
  3. Turn left onto Washington Avenue SE and stay left at the fork
  4. Continue across 19th Avenue South to Mondale Hall
Longer route (less traffic, not accessible)
  1. Exit the ramp and head northeast toward Bluff Street South
  2. Follow Bluff Street South to the Bluff Street Bikeway
  3. Follow the trail into the tunnel under 35W
  4. Turn right onto 20th Avenue South
  5. Turn left onto 1st Street South
  6. Turn right onto 21sth Avenue South
  7. Merge onto the sidewalk (walk your bike or scooter) to Mondale Hall

Public Transit to Carlson School of Management

  1. Exit the ramp and head west toward 13th Avenue South
  2. Turn left onto 13th Avenue South. Continue onto 2nd Street South
  3. Turn left onto 12th Avenue South and cross Washington Avenue South at the marked crosswalk
  4. Catch the 7 bus from Washington Avenue/12th Street South (schedule)
  5. Exit the bus at the 19th Avenue South/4th Street South stop
  6. Cross 19th Avenue at a marked crosswalk and arrive at Carlson School of Management
