I-394 lane closures and upcoming night work
Learn about intermittent overnight lane closures on I-394 in both directions between Penn Ave. and North 11th St.
Construction is well underway on MNDOT's I-394 Minneapolis to Golden Valley bridge maintenance project.
In addition to the I-394 E-ZPass lane closures, intermittent overnight lane closures on I-394 in both directions between Penn Ave. and North 11th St. began last night, Aug. 6 and will continue from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. nightly through November.
Then, starting Mon, Aug. 11, crews will begin demolition work that will create nighttime noise between 7 p.m. and 5 a.m. in the I-394 project area and nearby neighborhoods through Fri, Aug. 15. You may hear jackhammering, backing dump trucks with warning beeps and other construction noise during the night. Crews will do their best to minimize the overnight disruptions.
Plan ahead by checking 511, and give yourself additional time to reach your destination.
