Fall Public Transit News and Service Changes

Metro Transit
 Quarterly service changes for Metro Transit begin on August 16. Key updates include:

  • Better Bus Route changes go into effect for Route 61
  • Routes 134 and 765 will be restored
  • Frequency improvements on the following routes: 18, 61, 68, 80, 250, 534, 537, 538, 539, 546, 645, 673, 716, 760, 768, and 850
  • Metro Micro service begins in the Bloomington area

MVTA

Beginning September 2, MVTA will restore suspended services and add new trip options on Routes 475 and 490. These changes will provide UMN students, staff, and faculty with more transportation options to campus from Apple Valley, Eagan, Prior Lake, and Shakopee.
