Oak Street Reduced to One Lane in Each Direction
Oak Street SE between University Avenue and Washington Avenue will be reduced to one lane in each direction beginning June 16 through August.

Oak Street SE between University Avenue and Washington Avenue will be reduced to one lane in each direction beginning June 16 through August. The lane closures are necessary for the City of Minneapolis to install a separated bike lane on the west side of the street.
- Pedestrians should use the east sidewalk. The west sidewalk will be closed.
- Bicyclists may use the full vehicle lane to go through the work area.
- Drivers should use extra caution in the area and plan for increased traffic.
The drop–off circle in front of McNamara Alumni Center will remain accessible.
