Fourth Street Closed Oct. 7–11
Fourth Street will be closed from 10th Avenue SE to I-35W from October 7–14. There will be no access to I-35W from Fourth Street.
From October 7 to 11, a sanitary sewer pipe beneath Fourth Street will undergo emergency repairs. The road will be closed just west of 10th Avenue SE while crews excavate the area.
Driving
Access to I-35W will not be available via Fourth Street.
To I-35W North
- Use 15th Avenue SE/Pleasant Street SE to cross the Washington Avenue Bridge and continue to the I-35W entrance ramps Follow University Avenue SE to Highway 280, then north to I-35W
To I-35W South
- Use 15th Avenue SE/Pleasant Street SE to cross the Washington Avenue Bridge and continue to the I-35W entrance ramps
Walking/Biking
A detour will be available in the construction area.
Transit
No detours or stop changes are anticipated.
