Parking Rate Increases Go Into Effect on October 1

Monthly contract rates
Contract increases will go into effect on the October 2, 2024 paycheck. View paycheck deduction breakdowns.
- Lots: $81.00 to $84.00
- Ramps: $112.00 to $113.00
- Garages: $146.00 to $147.00
- Night and motorcycle contract rates will remain the same.
Monthly departmental contract rates
Departments will see new rates in their October 2024 billing statement.
- Lots: $74.29 to $77.00
- Ramps: $102.73 to $103.75
- Garages: $133.91 to $134.75
- Golf Carts: $25.00 to $30.00
Public parking rates
- Part-Time Parking Program: $8.00 to $9.00 per use
- Early Bird: $9.00 to $10.00 per day
- Fairview: $9.00 to $10.00 per day
- Construction staging: $7.00 to $10.00 daily or $81.00 to $84.00 monthly
Event parking rates*
- State Fair: $15.00 to $20.00
- Men’s Hockey and Basketball (day of): $10.00 to $12.00
- Men’s Football zones (day of):
- $10.00 to $15.00
- $20.00 to $30.00
Transportation and Safety Fee*
- Transportation and Safety Fee is $74.00
- Base Transportation and Safety Fee increased from $28.00 to $29.00 per semester
- The Universal Transit Pass remains at $45.00 per semester
- Opt-In Universal Transit Pass is now $74.00
*Denotes fees that went into affect at the beginning of the Fall 2024 semester.
These changes are due to increasing costs for maintaining campus transportation infrastructure. PTS is a self-supporting department and each year examines its parking rates as part of developing a responsible and fair budget.
