Metro Transit Quarterly Service Changes
Quarterly service changes begin Saturday, March 22

On March 22, Metro Transit will make changes to transit service throughout the metro. As always, these quarterly service changes are being made to ensure they are providing reliable service that meets our community's needs.
Highlights
- METRO Gold Line opens
- Updated station locations in downtown St. Paul to help improve onboarding
- Trip times adjusted on several routes to account for beginning of spring/summer construction projects
- Attention! These routes will have additional changes due to construction after March 22: 2, 3, 6, 7, 9, 17, 22, 32, 61, 62, 63, 65, 67, 114, and METRO D Line. Sign up for Rider Alerts for the latest information.
Route changes serving the University
Route 2
- Eastbound trips will start at Dupont Ave & 22nd St. instead of Hennepin Ave. & 22nd St. and will leave 2 minutes earlier.
Route 3
- Trip times will be adjusted for all days to better match current travel time.
- Route 3E trip departing Anderson Hall at 3:14 p.m. will be eliminated.
Route 6
- Southbound trip times will be adjusted between 27th Ave. & University Ave. and 4th St. & 15th Ave. to better reflect current travel time.
Route 7
- On weekdays, southbound trips will depart Plymouth Ave. & Theodore Wirth Pkwy. 2 minutes earlier between 6:30 a.m. and 2 p.m.
- Timepoint at Plymouth Ave. & 7th St. will be removed.
Route 22
- Trip times will be adjusted on weekdays in anticipation of I-94 construction.
Route 113
- Trip times will be adjusted in anticipation of I-94 construction.
Route 114
- Trip times will be adjusted in anticipation of I-94 construction.
