Updates to Campus Public Parking Rates and Options
Rate adjustments support public space availability and turnover in high demand locations. The free park and ride remains available at Lot 108 on the St. Paul campus, with quick bus connections to St. Paul, East Bank and West Bank.
Parking & Transportation Services is implementing updates to campus public parking rates. These changes include adjustments to daily maximum rates and the discontinuation of early bird pricing, alongside continued support for budget-friendly value parking options.
Summary of parking rate changes
Regular public parking
- Hourly rates will remain the same at all campus parking locations
- $3 / hour on Weekdays, 9 a.m. – 3 p.m.
- $1 / hour at all other times
- Daily maximum rates are increasing at parking ramps and garages
- Standard daily maximum: Increasing from $13 to $15
- Select Facilities Daily Maximum: Increasing from $15 to $20 at Church Street Garage, Washington Avenue Ramp and Weisman Art Museum Garage
Early Bird rates
Early bird discounted parking rates are being discontinued across all facilities.
Value parking options
- Value parking remains available at select surface lots, with a daily maximum of $6.
- A free park and ride is available at Lot 108 on the St. Paul campus, with quick bus connections to St. Paul, East Bank and West Bank.
