New Motorcycle Law Goes into Effect July 1
Starting July 1, Lane splitting and lane filtering will be legal for motorcyclists in Minnesota. Motorists and motorcyclists should be aware of the law's impacts.
Impacts on campus traffic
Lane splitting and filtering may be seen on campus on University and Fourth Avenue, among others. When on these roads, please be aware of motorcycles sharing a lane and do not obstruct their right to do so.
