Buses Will Replace South End Blue Line Trains April 23-May 14
Buses will replace METRO Blue Line trains on the south end beginning at 10 p.m. on Wednesday, April 23 to allow for scheduled maintenance.
At that time buses will replace trains between Fort Snelling and Mall of America stations in both directions. Find your specific replacement bus locations for all stations on the Metro Transit website.
Replacement bus timing can vary and trips may take longer because of needed routing and traffic conditions. Please plan extra time for your trip. The airport light rail shuttle will not be available, so please use replacement buses between terminals (about a 10 minute trip).
Starting at 8 p.m., Friday, May 9 to 8 a.m., Saturday, May 10 there will be an overnight track closure that will extend to 46th Street Station.
Work being conducted includes replacement of track and rail switches.
Regular service will resume for these stations on Wednesday, May 14.
