Metro Transit Seeking Input from People Who Bike

Metro Transit has started a pilot project this summer to improve bicycle access to their elevated transit stations. These bike ramps are on stairs at Franklin, West Bank, and Lake Street/Midtown Stations in Minneapolis.

For this pilot, the biking community is invited to test these bike ramps and let Metro Transit know if they are easy to use and support their multimodal use of bicycling with transit trips. For people who don’t bring their bike on transit, we’d also like to test that the stairs are still accessible for people with the bike ramp installed. A survey is available via QR code at each station, and on the Metro Transit website.
