On Saturday, June 15, Metro Transit will make changes to transit service throughout the metro. Quarterly service changes adapt and adjust the service based on current and projected ridership and the available resources and driver workforce. 

Changes specifically affecting the U of M are:

METRO Green Line

• Trip time adjusted to ensure more reliable schedules.
• 2-car trains will be in use all days of the week; with 3-car trains used occasionally as resources allow for special events.

Bus routes

Route 2

• Westbound frequency improved 9:30 to 11 a.m. on weekdays.   
   
• Trip time adjustments to account for Dinkytown construction.

Route 6

• Trip times will be adjusted to account for construction in multiple corridors.

Route 114

• Trip times adjusted due to Hennepin Ave. detour.
