Fairview & UMP Contract Parking

Fairview

Fairview employees cannot purchase University parking contracts or be added to the parking wait lists. Fairview employees with questions about their parking options should contact:

UMP (University of Minnesota - Physicians)

PTS bills UMP for contracts, and UMP then bills its employees at a discounted rate. However, UMP contract holders are responsible for managing their contracts, including canceling them. For rates and billing information, contact UMP benefits. PTS cannot provide UMP rates or billing information.

Other parking options

  • UMP employees not eligible for payroll-deducted parking benefits may purchase a quarterly-billed parking contract directly from PTS. To purchase a contract, an initial up-front payment must be made in person at PTS. Subsequent bills will be mailed to the contract holder with online payment available.
  • The Part-Time Parking (PTP) program may be a more convenient option than a contract for UMP employees who park on campus only one or two days a week or who are not eligible for a payroll-deducted parking contract through UMP benefits.

Waitlists

  • UMP employees can submit the UMP Contract & Wait List Request Form to request to be added to a waitlist or cancel their contract.
  • Wait list times depend on canceled contracts to create space for new contracts. PTS cannot predict when contract holders will cancel their contracts, so we can't predict how quickly wait lists will cycle.
  • UMP contracts are processed every Tuesday. Once your name comes up on a waitlist, PTS will email you with a contract offer. If you accept the contract, your contract will be created, and your hangtag will be mailed to the campus mail code you provide on the form.
