Gopher Bike Library
Borrow a bike for the term or the year!
Gopher Bikes is a convenient full-service program to help you get around campus. Bicycles are available on a first-come, first-served basis as available. Participants get a bicycle, a bike helmet, a combination U-lock. Rental period ends on the last day of instruction for the semester/summer term. Study and final exam days are not included unless prearranged.
Starting this summer, daily checkout is available at Comstock, Yudof, and Pioneer Halls for residents!

How to get one
All bikes are rented for Summer 2024. Check back soon for Fall openings! Residents of Comstock, Yudof, and Pioneer Halls may still check out bikes for daily use from the residence hall front desk.
Gopher Bike rentals are subject to these Terms and Conditions.
How to return
- Return and lock bike at the Gopher Bike rack located along Walnut Street outside the University Avenue Ramp.
- Email biking@umn.edu with the return date and bike number within 24hrs.
