If you use the Riverside Ave. bridge over I-94 in Minneapolis, make sure to include extra travel time to take a detour starting Aug. 4.
Beginning at 7 a.m. Mon, Aug. 4, the Riverside Ave. bridge will be closed to motorists, bicyclists, and pedestrians through Mon, Aug. 18.
You can bypass the closure using the 25th Ave. South bridge.
The closure is necessary to allow crews to safely complete bridge maintenance work along eastbound I-94.
