New Express Route Coming to Campus

The new Route 126 will get you between Minneapolis and St. Paul even faster with fewer stops.

Get ready for a faster way to travel across the University of Minnesota Twin Cities campus. Starting Monday, March 16, the new Route 126 — Campus Express will begin serving East Bank, West Bank, and St. Paul.

With buses departing every 18 minutes on weekdays, the route uses fewer stops to help you reach your destinations across the University more quickly. The 126 will also serve stops along Metro Transit’s Route 3 for service beyond campus.

  • Cleveland Ave. at Como Ave. (St. Paul, Route 3 connection)
  • Washington Ave. at Northrop Mall (East Bank)
  • Willey Hall (West Bank)
  • University Ave. at Pleasant St. (East Bank)
  • Cleveland Ave. at Como Ave. (St. Paul, Route 3 connection) 

121 Campus Connector service changes

When the 126 — Campus Express operates, 121 — Campus Connector departure times will increase from 5 minutes to 7 minutes. The route will remain the same.
