May is National Bike to Work Month. Join PTS at the U of M Bike Center (at Oak Street) on Friday, May 19 to celebrate Bike to Work Day and have a fun and healthy way to start your day. Do a quick pit stop for free safety checks, tune up, giveaways, food, and beverages while supplies last.  
 
Join any of the six “Pit Stop” locations for Bike To Work Day, Friday May 19 from 8-10 a.m.!

Buses will replace METRO Green Line trains beginning the morning of Friday, May 19 at 7 p.m. to allow for schedule maintenance in the corridor, including track repair.

With it being spring in Minnesota, it is important to review tornado or severe storm information.

From Monday, April 17 through at least the fall of 2023, Cleveland Avenue will be closed between Buford and Larpenteur Avenues for Ramsey County construction work. Note: the Buford Avenue intersection will be temporarily closed until they complete construction through that intersection.

The University of Minnesota - Twin Cities campus has once again been named one of the top places in the country to ride a bike, according to the League of American Bicyclists, a grassroots advocacy organization encouraging better bicycling and protecting the rights of people who bike. 

The iconic green Nice Ride bikes will not return to University of Minnesota campus streets this year. Students, staff and visitors will still have plenty of bike share choices. Other providers will fill in the gaps. 

Depending on where you notice the pothole, it could be a campus or city street. 

Metro Transit is embarking on an 18-month project, Network Now, that will help make decisions that best respond to the needs of the communities they serve.  

Beginning on November 22, 2022 (weather-dependent), Parking & Transportation Services (PTS) will close the Riverside vehicle entrance and all southern pedestrian access points to enter the 19th Avenue Ramp as a pilot project.
